European countries continued their push to ban social media for teenagers, while the U.S. announced a new freedom portal, and Meta’s former chief AI scientist said that future AI innovation and top scientists will come from India and Africa due to their younger population in comparison to Western countries. South Korea's former President was sentenced to life and Mexico's top cartel leader lost his life, killed in an operation by the Mexican army, with some U.S. help on intelligence, leading to clashes across Mexico and the issuing of shelter in place warnings.
