MORE - 21-year-old, Abdul Ballout is a German citizen, of Lebanese origin who was born in Berlin, he was released from juvenile detention in May, is known to the police for aggravated assault and extortion. Ballout is also allegedly a supporter of the Islamic State.

JUST IN - U.S. State Department says they welcome Venezuela's announcement of withdrawal from the ICC, calls for it to be "dismantled" as it is "neither credible, independent, nor legitimate," and requests all members of ICC to "withdraw from the Rome Statue."
